## What it does

GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) is not a traffic strategy - it's a recommendation strategy. This skill guides you through optimising your content so AI models cite and recommend your brand when users ask for help.

Run `/geo` in Claude Code and you can:

- **Audit existing content** against research-backed GEO principles
- **Build comparison pages** structured for maximum AI citation likelihood
- **Check your brand's AI visibility** and identify recommendation gaps
- **Prioritise content refreshes** based on what drives AI citations
- **Plan offsite strategies** (reviews, Reddit, PR) that influence AI answers

## Install

1. Download `geo.md` from this repo
2. Place it in `~/.claude/commands/` (create the folder if it doesn't exist)
