Privacy Policy: Website Audits and GEO Data

How MadeInRed handles public website inspections, saved reports, accounts, payments and the local Chrome extension.

Public website inspections

The free audit reads public pages, robots.txt, sitemaps and related technical responses. It stores reports and request observations so a result can be revisited. It does not need the target website’s admin credentials. Avoid submitting URLs containing private tokens or confidential data.

Accounts and saved reports

We process account email, authentication data, saved reports, signatures you provide and service usage to operate your account. Claiming an audit saves a snapshot; a later rescan does not overwrite that saved copy. A report signature is user-provided text, not third-party certification.

Chrome extension

The extension reads the current page locally in your browser. It does not send page text to MadeInRed, call a model or require an account. Website access permission is used to collect page information for display in the side panel.

Payments and providers

Stripe handles payment details; MadeInRed does not store full card numbers or security codes. Transactional email is sent through Resend. We keep the order and entitlement information needed to deliver the service. Model-powered GEO workflows can send the research and content context required for a task to the configured providers. The free technical audit and the extension do not make model calls.

Cookies and retention

Authentication cookies keep you signed in; local preferences support features such as colour theme. Records are retained for service operation, support and applicable legal obligations. Contact us to request deletion or discuss the data associated with your account. Some billing records may need to be retained by law.

Your choices

You can inspect a public website without creating an account and use the extension without signing in. Contact us about personal data rights, retention or an unintended public report. Review the Chinese policy for the original published wording.
