Refunds and Cancellation

How to cancel MadeInRed renewal and request a review of a payment, compute credit issue or software licence delivery.

Free tools require no payment

The public website audit and the Chrome extension are free. Signing in to claim a full audit report does not require a paid plan.

Cancel renewal

Use the billing portal available in your account, or contact hello@madeinred.com with your account email and order reference. Cancellation stops future renewal according to the subscription’s billing terms; it does not itself refund earlier use.

Compute subscription refunds

Basic and Pro are prepaid subscriptions. Within 14 days of purchase, you may request a full refund if none of the credits issued for that payment have been used. Used credits, partial delivery, technical faults and duplicate payments are reviewed against actual delivery and applicable law. Cancellation alone does not issue a refund. Mandatory consumer rights are not limited by this policy.

Algorithm licence and legacy orders

For a one-time algorithm purchase, a full refund may be requested within 14 days if the algorithm package has not been downloaded. Legacy run packages follow the same 14-day condition before a run associated with that order has started. Used or partially delivered services are reviewed against actual delivery and applicable law. A downloaded package’s ongoing local use and third-party compute costs are considered according to the fulfilled service and applicable law.

Request a payment review

Email hello@madeinred.com with your account email and Stripe invoice reference. Do not include payment card details. We normally respond within three working days. Approved refunds return through the original payment method; banks usually take five to ten working days.

Credits and software delivery

Compute plans fund actual usage, with run counts shown as estimates. A refund or chargeback revokes only the remaining credits and future grants associated with that payment. Projects, history and completed deliverables remain accessible. For one-time orders, unused runs and future download or update access associated with that order may be suspended; other valid purchases are not automatically affected. The algorithm licence uses your own compute. No statement here removes rights required by law.
